Biographical/Historical Note

William T. "Bill" Rolen Jr. was born in Jackson County, NC on June 21, 1929 to William and Lola Caldwell Rolen. He worked for 11 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and then worked with the Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management for 14 years. He married Jane Basilio and they had three children. Rolen died in North Carolina on March 14, 2015.
