Ferol Frost Hubbs Genealogy Research
Collection contains three typewritten manuscripts collected or compiled by Ferol Frost Hubbs, a genealogist from Greeneville, Tennessee. Two items are histories of Tennessee families, "The Genealogy of Andrew Johnson, The Seventeenth President of the United States" (17 pages) and "The Genealogy of the John E. McGaughey Family of Atlanta, Georgia” (61 pages). The third is an index to a previously published work, Histories of Tennessee, and is 174 pages. Each manuscript begins with an introduction and summary written by Hubbs. These materials were compiled throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

Ferol Violet Frost was born on April 4, 1900. She married W. R. Hubbs on May 25, 1918 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She died on April 14, 1994 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
