Biographical / Historical
Hugh Howard Talley (1922-1989) of Cleveland, Tennessee, was a member of the U.S. Army who served in three major conflicts: World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Talley was the first three-time recipient of the Combat Infantryman Badge and held many other distinctions and awards. Talley retired from service as a Sergeant Major in 1967.
