Biographical / Historical
Robert Bracken was born April 6, 1921 in Frankfort, Indiana to Robert and Margaret McComb Bracken. In 1949 he married Margaret Emslie. He graduated from Wabash College in 1943 and later from Harvard Law School in 1949. During World War II, Bracken served with the U.S. Army with the Third Service Command. Bracken returned to Frankfort where he was an attorney from 1952 until his retirement in 1990. He died January 6, 2013 and is buried in Frankfort, Indiana.
