Biographical / Historical
John William Bell was born April 9, 1909. During World War II, he served with the U. S. Army with the Infantry, Headquarters Company IV Corps. Bell was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in 1945. Bell was married to Katherine Evelyn White (1910-2010). He died July 6, 1981 and is buried in Knox County, Tennessee.
