William Butler Yeats Broadsides
This collection includes 14 broadsides printed between 1935 and 1937 which include poetry, music, and illustrations. The series of broadsides was edited by W. B. Yeats (alongside other editors such as F. R. Higgins and Dorothy Wellesley) and was printed at Cuala Press in Dublin. Additionally the collection contains playbills from the Abbey Theatre from 1949; a print of a drawing of J. M. Synge, and some correspondence.

Biographical / Historical
Irish poet, dramatist, and politician William Butler Yeats was born in Ireland on June 13, 1865 to John Butler and Susan Mary Pollexfen Yeats. He was awarded the Nobel Prize of Literature in December 1923. Additionally, he helped found the Abbey Theatre, where he served for many years as its chief playwright. He died at the Hotel Ideal Sejour in France on January 28, 1939 at the age of 73.
