This collection is a printed manuscript for “Tennesseans at War: World War II” written in November 1985 largely by Forrest Shoup. The publication was compiled as an effort by the Education Department of the Tennessee State Museum and was used in conjunction with their traveling exhibits program. Biographical / Historical
Forrest O. Shoup (1922-1995) served with the U.S. Air Force and authored multiple books including The Flawed and the Damned (1979), and Tennesseans at War: World War II (1986). Shoup is buried in Davidson County, Tennessee.
