Biographical / Historical

David Carlton Laing was born (1923) and raised in Eden, New York. He served in the 4th Platoon of East Company, 335th Infantry Regiment, 84th Division during World War II. He served in the European Theater of War and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Following the war, he founded the Laing Funeral Home in 1950 in Eden. He married Julia Hill in 1946 and they had four children together. Laing died in 1994.
