Biographical / Historical

Joseph Billig was born on December 6, 1919. After enlisting in 1942, Billig served in the 94th Infantry Division with Company B of the 376th Infantry Regiment during World War II. Billig was married to Helen K. Billig (1921-2002). He died on January 27, 2003, and is buried in New Jewish Cemetery in Knox County.
