This collection contains three articles by Rolfe Hillman relating to his experiences in the Korean War. The articles, “Vasquez” (published under the pseudonym ‘Lieutenant J.D. Lewis.’), “The Fallacy of the Label,” and “End of a Leader,” appeared in Army between 1959 and 1963. These copies contain handwritten notes by Hillman.

Biographical / Historical

Rolfe L. Hillman Jr. was born on February 19, 1924, in Virginia. His military service with the U.S. Army included assignments in World War II, the Korean War, and more. Hillman died on January 15, 1995, and is buried in Washington County, Virginia.
