A single album belonging to Lucinda Cowan which contains notes and sketches from Cowan's friends.

Biographical / Historical

Lucinda Dickinson Cowan was born April 11, 1811 to Perez (1763-1813) and Lucinda Foster Dickinson (1789-1855). In 1830, she married James H. Cowan (1801-1871) and together they had at least seven children. Cowan died April 27, 1849, and is buried in Old Gray Cemetery in Knox County, Tennessee.
