Henry Kent Memoir
This memoir (richly illustrated with copies of original photographs) documents Henry Kent's service as a pilot in North Africa and Italy during World War II. Kent discusses such subjects as the planes in use during World War II, the day-to-day operations of his unit, and the activities of his various friends while capturing the hardship, fear, and humor of the situation.
Researchers should note that most of the files on the CD are nearly inaccessible due to their format. As such, they have been printed to facilitate research. Unfortunately, the color present in the original photographs could not be reproduced.

Biographical/Historical Note
Henry W. Kent was awarded the DFC for 46 missions flown over Africa and Italy during World War II. He later taught chemistry and physics at the university level.
