This collection houses a wealth of photographs that Robert Coe took of various TVA projects in the 1940s in addition to several graphs and maps.

Biographical/Historical Note

Robert B. Coe was most likely born in Massachusetts on March 2, 1903 and died in Alexandria, Virginia on May 22, 1989. He worked as a landscape architect for the Tennessee Valley Authority and married Cara Costen (1911-2006) in 1943.

Arrangement

This collection consists of seven folders.

Acquisition Note

Cara (Costen) Coe donated these papers to the University of Tennessee's Special Collections Library in December of 1993.
