Biographical/Historical Note
James S. Robinson Apothecary was one of the oldest pharmacies in Memphis, Tennessee. After moving from Pennsylvania to Memphis, Robinson (1843-1923) opened his store in 1869 in downtown Memphis. Following his death, his widow continued the business for a time.
