Biographical/Historical Note

The Welding and Testing Technology Exhibition and Conference (WATTec) is a conference and exhibition held annually during National Engineers' Week under the joint sponsorship of 30 technical and professional society chapters in the Knoxville-Oak Ridge area. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum in interdisciplinary environmental guidelines for the dissemination and exchange of information on an important national issue involving science and technology. Since 1973, the meeting has discussed the energy crisis and has featured invited speakers on all aspects of the production, use, and conservation of energy.
