Scope and Contents Note

Blount encloses several pension applications (not found) with this letter. A number of these applications were suspended or denied, and Blount mentions that he has noted the reasons for these actions on the documents themselves. He also notes that he does not believe that the House of Representatives will vote to censure General Jackson and sends his regards to Mrs. Mynatt.
