He also notes that he does not believe that the House of Representatives will vote to censure General Jackson and sends his regards to Mrs. Mynatt.

Pleasonton forwards a copy of a circular letter and Congressional Act concerning the collection of direct taxes in Tennessee. He also requests that Mynatt acknowledge his letter.

Pleasonton respectfully but earnestly requests that Mynatt submit his district's tax returns for the period following October 1825.
