Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: This collection consists of six letters written by Horace Maynard between 1861 and 1873. The first, dated December 17, 1861 and addressed to D. S. Dickerman, discusses Dickerman's recent loss of contact with Tennessee. The second, dated January 2, 1863 and addressed to an unknown recipient, indicates that the recipient should speak with Return J. Meigs for further information.
