Scope and Contents Note From the Collection: Agnes B. Maddox typed these 28 pages from the only written copy of the Shiloh Baptist Church's minutes in 1964. The manuscript begins with an index of members, noting whether they are deceased, dismissed, or excluded. Virginia G. Kelley transcribed these pages from the Union Fork Baptist Church Minute Book in 1966. The 24 typed pages begin with a five-page listing of the church's current and former members gathered from various places within the minutes. Page six presents the "Role of decorum for union fork church and Artickels of faith" before beginning the minutes proper. Kelley also typed a cover letter listing resources for further research.

Scope and Contents Note From the Collection:

This manuscript is composed of eight typed pages of land ownership records for Washington and Southern Liberties, Tennessee dating from 1813 to 1860. Also included are three pages of sketched plat maps and one page regarding Mrs. Martha Gist's death in 1831. Mrs. C. P. (Virginia) Kelley transcribed all of these records in 1966 and indicated the source of each item (including newspaper articles, deed indices, and tax lists) at the beginning of the relevant section.
