Dru Bagwell Collection
This collection contains nearly 40 items acquired by Drury "Dru" Bagwell during his time as a University of Tennessee, Knoxville student from 1960 - 1968. The materials include a variety of programs from campus events such as Carnicus, All-Sing, commencement, and other university sponsored activities.
Druggist's Prescription Record
This collection consists of a book of prescription records from various pharmacies and physicians in Knoxville, Tennessee between 1874 and 1883. Businesses included in this record book are Lyons & McCampbell, Hunter & Co., Rodgers Brothers, and Albers & Co.
Drury M. Haddick Land Grant
This collection consists of one land grant from the United States government to Drury M. Haddick for his service in the military. He served as a private in the Captain Battles' Company, Second Regiment, in the Tennessee Mounted Volunteers in the Florida War.
Dry Goods Ledger Book
This collection houses one well organized ledger documenting the transactions of an unidentified dry goods store between 1850 and 1870. The entries include lists of cloth bought, records of whiskey barrels ordered and sold, and records of a large assortment of trinkets.
Duggan & Moon Account Book
This collection consists of one account book belonging to Duggan & Moon of Unionville, Tennessee. The account entries are dated from 1860-1876. A latter portion of the book was used to document an annual reunion (including names of attendees and minutes) of the pupils of W. E. Thompson in Unionville from 1927-1938.
Dunlap Family Papers
This collection contains material related to the Dunlap family of Tennessee. Included is a typed copy of a letter written by Dr. J. G. M. Ramsey regarding his plans to author a book about the family; the roll for a club in Paris, Tennessee to which Dunlap family members belonged; a handwritten deed documenting J. H. Dunlap's purchase of land in Henry County; and a newspaper clipping describing the story of Ripley E. Dunlap, a "forty-niner" who left Paris in search for gold in California.
Dunn-Oliver Collection
Durham Coal & Iron Co. Records
The Durham Coal & Iron Co. Records, 1906-1929, contains a report by W. F. B. Berger on March 6, 1929, with a detailed evaluation of the Chattanoogan mines, timber reserves and their values, as well as of the geology of the company properties. Included are several past reports from 1926 thru 1928. Blueprints and a digest of Berger's report were found loose in the report and are listed as separate items in a separate folder.
Durwood Dunn Collection
This collection contains the papers of author and professor Durwood Dunn of Tennessee Wesleyan College. The collection includes copies of Dunn's scholarly work, historical research on the American Civil War, abolitionism, and the Appalachian region, and correspondence with coworkers, researchers, and friends. Items in the collection include copies of historical documents used for research, drafts of publications, and correspondence from the publishing process.
Dwight H. Stuckey Collection
This collection consists primarily of correspondence between Dwight H. Stuckey and World War II fighter aces John Alden Tilley, Daniel J. Zoerb, George Carpenter, and Gil Niceley. In these letters, the pilots recount their memories of their military service. Also included are signed biographical sketches of pilots Major General Ralph Gordon Taylor, Major Robert W. Moore, and Marion Franklin Kirby.
Dwight L. McReynolds Collection
This collection includes photographs, maps, papers, newspapers, documents, booklets, and other publications kept by Brig. General Dwight L. McReynolds during his service in World War II (European Theater) and shortly after.
E. D. Bruce Civil War Letter
This February 19,1864 letter by Private E. D. Bruce of the 8th Georgia Infantry informs of the "good health and fine spirits" of his army. Written to his family, he informs them of the happenings and current conditions of the war.

In this address given before the Rockingham County, Virginia Historical Society, Bishop E. E. Hoss discusses the ancestry and life of General and Governor John Sevier. This item is a typescript of the original.
E. E. Ogle Store Day Book
This collection contains a day book for the E.E. Ogle Store of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The handwritten ledger contains sales and purchases that took place throughout 1897. It is organized alphabetically by patrons of the store.
E. H. Rennolds Diaries
E. H. Rennolds maintained these two diaries while he was serving with the 5th Tennessee Infantry (CSA) in 1863 and 1864 during the Civil War. In them, he describes his service in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, including his participation in the battles of Spring Hill, Franklin, and Nashville.
E. P. Nelson Diary
This diary was written by E. P. Nelson from January to August 1871, with financial records in the first few pages from 1858 to 1860.
E. S. Chesbrough Letter
E. S. Chesbrough wrote this letter to H. M. Nelson, a civil engineer in Faytteville, North Carolina, from Knoxville, Tennessee on June 12, 1837. In it, Chesbrough describes spending the night with a local family in a small cabin, mentions his duties as a surveyor, and discusses some church matters. This collection also houses a typewritten transcript of the original letter.
