This collections consists of programs and proceedings from the East Tennessee Farmer's Convention. The manuscripts range from 1872 to 1941, with significant gaps between years (see Scope and Contents Note for more information). The programs specify the times of activities, and the proceedings are a compilation of newspaper clippings, attendance sheets, and type-written accounts of speeches.

This letter appoints William Hunt Attorney in Fact for the East Tennessee and Georgia Railroad Company. Hunt is instructed to apply to the Tennessee Legislature for the 250 bonds (worth $1,000 each) that the previous Legislature had set aside for the Railroad.

This collection contains a single letter written by George Brown of the East Tennessee Music Company. Brown typed this letter to Mildred Metler on April 19, 1907 to inform her that she won a prize for a contest the company held. The letter details when to pick up her prize and where. The letter is printed on stationary that contains advertisements, both for Kimball Pianos and Organs.
East Tennessee Postcards
This collection includes three postcards depicting places in East Tennessee. The first, used in 1909, depicts a photograph of a hotel in Lea's Springs and was printed by Earle Harrison on Knoxville. The second, used in 1911, depicts a drawing of Knoxville in 1793. The third, used in 1912, depicts coke ovens in Lafollette. Each postcard has been used and includes a message on the back side of the postcard.
