This collection consists of a hand drawn survey dated 1806 of lands held near Nashville, Tennessee by George Washington Campbell, a letter written by Campbell to a Mrs. Mary Doherty in 1832 concerning 640 acres of Campbell's land in Tennessee, and an undated stereograph of George Washington Campbell's Nashville, Tennessee mansion.

This collection houses invoices and sales contracts produced by the Hermitage Feed Mills (located in Nashville, Tennessee) documenting sales of animal feed to Frank William Taylor of Morristown, Tennessee in 1934, 1935, and 1940. Also included are advertising fliers from Hermitage Mills, including prices.

J. Colghborn wrote this letter to Thomas Hickman of Nashville, Tennessee after he returned from a sales trip in order to finalize a land contract between the two men.

This collection consists of a letter from John L. Davidson of Nashville, dated October 1st, 1850, to his sister Harriet Ann Davidson of Logan City, Kentucky. John discusses his job in a dry goods store, dancing, love affairs, and family news.

Joseph E. Clemm began this diary on June 22, 1819 with the intention of making the gift of this journal to him [the reader] at some future period. The early part of this work is devoted to Clemm's activities in Augusta, Georgia. Later on, Clemm describes a trip to Tennessee to collect an overdue debt, during which he passes through the Cherokee Nation.

This collection consists of several loose pages of sheet music from Jubilee Songs and Plantation Melodies.

In this letter to her sister Veronica Boyers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Nashville resident Kate Thornberg tells of freezing weather and a lack of food due to the influx of Union Soldiers and Confederate refugees and the Union's control of the Lexington and Nashville Railway Line.

This collection consists of the diary, dated 1917-1919, of Laura Elliott (later Simpson), a young woman from Nashville, Tenn. In her diary, which begins on the day that war was declared on Germany in 1917, she details her experience in the publishing business and her thoughts on the war.

These materials include patient information, operating procedures, and names of doctors. Some of the records are administrative and cover payments received, supply inventories, and employee wages.
