This collection features William A. Romeiser's personal narrative, Memories of World War II Experiences, written about his service in the European theatre during World War II.

This collection contains a time table of the 559th Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Batallion, dated from July 16, 1944 to July 19, 1945. The record documents the various stops and destinations of the 559th AAA as well as the times of arrival and departure.

The typed memoir is four pages long and focuses on Curtin’s experiences while discovering Stalag Luft III, a prisoner of war camp.

This collection contains Wayne Wilson's copy of a book entitled "From Bruyeres to Brenner: The Combat of the Fighting 411th" about and written by the 411th Infantry Regiment in 1945. The material is a photocopy of the publication but does include Wilson's handwritten notations throughout the book.

This collection includes a 20-page typescript personal narrative of William Bopp’s experiences in World War II. Written in 1990, Bopp recounts his beginnings and training with the military, his experiences overseas in Europe during the war, through his discharge in 1945 and return home.

Also included is a copy of Bopp’s honorable discharge certificate from 1945, and a copy of the “Company A Newsletter” from September 1991 for which Bopp authored the main text.

This collection contains correspondence from a soldier, only known as “Dwight,” during World War II. Most of the letters are addressed to his parents and are written between January 1944 and July 1945. The letters are written from places in Europe including Germany and Austria.
