This collection includes V-mail correspondence sent by Charles Warr during 1944 from France and Germany. In these four notes to his future wife Virginia Campbell, Warr comments on conditions and the status of the war.

This collection contains letters, newspaper clippings, and records from Charles Henry Hatchett, Private First Class in the 137th Armored Ordnance Maintenance Battalion. He served in Europe during World War II from 1945-1946.

This collection includes a three-page typed document related to Charles Eisiminger's World War II military service. The document is structured as answers to "Questions for Veterans"; the questions are not present. The document covers Eisiminger's experiences joining and training with the Army Air Corps and his active service during and after World War II. Eisiminger also reminisces about fellow soldiers and observations about the effects of war.

This collection consists of photographs, publications, maps, and military ephemera relating to Charles Kelly’s service in the United States Air Force, during World War II. Kelly was a member of the fifth bomber command group, which served in the Philippines.

Collection consists of an interview with Charles Morton, Jr., conducted in Franklin, Tenn., by the Center for the Study of War and Society for the Veteran's Oral History Project. Morton grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and served in the Army, clearing mines during World War II.

The collection also houses a map of France sent to Rainwater's father with an accompanying letter, dated May 19, 1943, and several undated photographs of Rainwater, his plane, and the plane wreckage.

This collection is comprised of photographs of the 73rd Bomb Wing, stationed in Saipan during World War II. The China-Burma-India Hump Pilots Association newsletter housed in this collection is dated 1991 October 30 and contains letters from the President and Chairman of the Board to the membership, notes from the last convention, and lists of new members, life members, and deceased members. The roster provides a list of the Association's members (including address, spouse's name, phone number, role in the operation, and wartime base).

Collection includes three declassified manuals from the National Defense Committee on chromatographic studies of smokeless gunpowders and their feasibility of use in World War II. The studies took place at the University of California Technical School and cover experiments from September 25, 1943 to November 14, 1945.
