Collection consists of a short letter written on the letterhead for Murphy and Robinson, a Knoxville, Tenn., dealer of hats, caps and straw goods. The letter, dated November 2, 1899, reads in part, "I have sold over $200.00 worth of them this year. Everything is moving along nicely. The spring goods are beginning to come in and we have just finished taking stock."
