This collection consists of a ledger book dating from 1922 to 1925. The cover is labeled Cash-Book College of Medicine and College of Dentistry U. of T. Its divisions include academic departments (anatomy, biology, chemistry, histology and embryology, etc.), insurance, library, advertising and printing, and other subjects.

This collection consists of Hiram McNeil's medical school diploma from the University of Nashville. The document is written in Latin and was conferred on March 1, 1883.

This collection consists of a letter dated September 12, 1917 from Dean James D. Hoskins to Mr. Luther B. Newman of Chaska, Tennessee. In it, Hoskins informs Newman of his acceptance into the University of Tennessee's premedical course without condition for the fall term.

This collection contains materials documenting the University of Nashville and the University of Tennessee's joint medical school in Nashville, which operated from 1909 to 1911. These materials include patient information, operating procedures, and names of doctors. Some of the records are administrative and cover payments received, supply inventories, and employee wages.

This collection of manuscript materials does not include rough drafts or notes from Patricia Cornwell’s own writing. It consists of materials she collected as part of her very extensive research. In addition to notebooks, pamphlets, and newspaper articles about Medicine and Crime, it includes primary source documents about the abolition movement, suffragettes, Prince Albert-Victor and other 19th century celebrities, education, and literature.
