This collection houses program reviews, or self-studies, completed by various University of Tennessee departments. They include information about graduate and undergraduate studies, student demography, current faculty, curriculum, and future prospects.

This collection houses a variety of annual reports created by the University of Tennessee's College of Agriculture, School of Architecture, College of Business Administration, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Home Economics, School of Journalism, College of Law, and College of Liberal Arts. The vast majority of the materials date from between 1967 and 1969.

This collection houses records documenting a University-wide self study that the University of Tennessee completed in 1970. A small number of records describe a similar project conducted in 1961.
