Annie G. McDowell Postcards
This collection houses postcards printed in 1906 and sent to Annie G. McDowell of Asheville, North Carolina in 1908 and 1909. All of the cards show scenes of Knoxville and Tennessee.

This collection consists of two anonymous photographs from the United States Marine Corps during World War II, along with a index card with captions and notes.
Anthony Foster Letter
In this letter to David Henley, Anthony Foster reports that several days previously F. B. Sappington and Dr. May "differed and fought." Although the duel was conducted "gentlemanly" on both side, Sappington was killed. May fled to Knoxville, and Foster is now asking Henley to advance May any money that he might need. The verso contains a note indicating that the letter was to be hand delivered by May.
Antoine Lacassagne Collection
The Antoine Lacassagne collection houses records of commissions, congresses, conferences, and symposiums, lectures, correspondence, records of experiments, experimental notebooks, lessons, and reprints of publications by Professor Lacassagne and others documenting their work in the field of radiobiology.
Antoinette Miller Scrapbooks
This collection of four scrapbooks was created by Antoinette Miller during the four years she attended the University of Tennessee (1927-1931). Items include newspaper and magazine clippings, correspondence, holiday cards, memorabilia, photographs, and class materials. Many pages and individual items were removed before the books were donated to Special Collections.
Appalachia Photograph Album
This collection consists of one book containing photographs of intimate studies of the mountain people of Western Carolina and their handicrafts. Army of the Cumberland Quartermaster's Report
In a letter dated 1865 May 5 the chief quartermaster of the Army of the Cumberland, E. B. Carling, sends his annual report for the month of March to his superior, A. J. Mackay. The letter was sent internally from the quartermaster's office located in Nashville, Tenn. The letter concerns the movements of the Army of the Cumberland's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Cavalry divisions throughout the state of Mississippi.
Army Specialized Training Program Records
This collection houses student records, correspondence, course descriptions, curricula, and other materials documenting the Army Specialized Training Program at the University of Tennessee between 1943 and 1945. Each of the student records are entered on Form No. 831 and show the student's full name, army serial number, home address, date of birth, classes taken, and grades earned.
Arnell Family Papers
The Arnell Family Papers represents three generations of the Arnell family: Radical Republican Reconstruction politician and U.S. congressman Samuel Mayes Arnell, U.S. Bureau of Pensions worker and lawyer Samuel Mayes Arnell, Jr., and University of Tennessee graduate Harriette Locke Arnell. The collection contains family papers, financial and legal papers, and historical papers dated 1780-1957, with the bulk of the material covering 1860-1910.
