This collection consists of a memorandum of monies received by Hinchey Petway belonging to the state of Tennessee for land in Williamson County. The ledger contains fifty-six pages of entries which spans the years 1824 to 1838 with the bulk of the entries recorded prior to 1830.
A license created in March 1841 for Jacob Chrisman of Williamson County, Tennessee to keep his horse. The document states Chrisman paid the tax of four dollars and was signed by county clerk Lemuel B. McConnico.
This collection consists of one photograph whose subject is identified as Jennie McEwen.
