This collection contains materials collected by Sarah Ricketts while researching and writing A Window on Eternity (1989), the biography of poet Jane Merchant. Spanning the years 1937-1992, the papers include Merchant's voluminous correspondence, excerpts from her diary, and scrapbooks of her published and unpublished poetry. Also included are the various drafts of Ricketts' book.

The William Broadway Collection on Peter Taylor contains letters, articles, photographs, and writings concerning the Southern author Peter Taylor. Most of the items date from the mid-1980s to Taylor's death in 1994. There are articles on Taylor, including some written by or with photographs by Broadway.

This collection, dating from March and April 1966, contains a signed copy of the book The Far Family by Wilma Dykeman and letters about the book between Dykeman, her husband and writing partner Jim Stokely, and Erich Rosenberg.
