This collection consists of a blueprint drawing of the layout of the University of Tennessee campus in 1916. The locations of many historic buildings are shown, including Jefferson Hall, South College, Reese Hall, Ayres Hall, and others.

These four images, reproduced from the University of Tennessee Record and other sources, show the UT campus between approximately 1888 and 1900. They include summer and winter views, a drawing of the president's house and surrounding area, and an aerial view from the northeast.

This collection contains one copy of the University of Tennessee Choral Society's recording of the Alma Mater, The Spirit of the Hill, and Our Champions. John Carl Tegnell directed the performance and Mary Charlotte Sloan and Robert Joan provided the piano accompaniment.

This collection houses three 4 x 8 inch University of Tennessee Football Handkerchiefs. Each has a white background and bears an orange UT emblem with a figure of a football player running before it in the top left corner.

This collection houses a variety of material documenting the University of Tennessee football team from 1908 to 1993. These items include a ribbon worn by UT fans at the 1908 Vanderbilt-UT game, football schedules from 1934, 1970-72, 1990-91, and 1992-93, an advertisement from the Athletic Association promoting season tickets for the 1930-31 season, and finally a facetious University of Tennessee Entrance Exam for Prospective Football Players and Fans by Johnny Majors dated 1984.

This collection houses a single freshman cap worn by first-year students at the University of Tennessee from the 1920’s to the 1940’s. The cap is made of green felt and displays an orange UT symbol on its front.

This collection houses photographs of displays, handwritten notes, advertisements, a preliminary plan and tactics, and emails documenting the University of Tennessee's History Week in 1996.

This collection contains a pamphlet from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Department of English, dated 1926 and copyrighted by English professor John C. Hodges. The text consists of a class schedule, reading lists, and instructions for academic writing.

This collection houses one 45' LP RCA record entitled Spirit of the Vols. It contains four tracks: Alma Mater,Fight Vols Fight,Down the Field Cheers (including Two Bits, Four Bits,Ho Hi Hey,Yeh Vols Fight, and Yeh Orange, Yeh Vols), and Great Day. The performance was directed by Ambrose Holford and sung by the Tenn-Men. The record case contains the lyrics to the Alma Mater.

This broadside advertises a performance by the UT Minstrel Troupe at the Science Hall featuring song, dance, and story. The show cost 30 cents per person and promised Funny Faces by Funny Folks in a Funny Faculty Frolic.

This collection houses a University of Tennessee sports card from the early 1900s advertising Murad Cigarettes. It shows the University of Tennessee seal with a picture of a figure playing polo. The card is part of College Series 26-50 and is stamped Packet No. S. 260. The back of the card shows a list of other universities and colleges included in series 26-50.

This collection contains postcards of print images of the University of Tennessee, a good number of them with messages and stamps. The cards have a copyright date of 1903. While most are postmarked no later than 1920, two are postmarked 1949.

This collection houses materials (including a Charter of Incorporation) documenting the University of Tennessee Research Corporation. Much of the information dates from the late 1960s and illustrates such issues as control over research funding, especially in the area of Public Health.
