Abstract The Moore Family Collection, 1794-1945 (bulk 1845-1945), consists of daybooks, songbooks, correspondence, photographs, and other papers, both personal and professional, relating to the Moore Family of East Tennessee. The most prevalent family members in the collection are J. L. Moore (1843-1922), J. A. Moore (1874-1947), Paul A. Moore (b. 1914), and Mabel Moore (1871-1965).
