Abstract
This folder contains a list of accounts payable from June to October 1801 to East Tennessee publisher George Wilson of George Wilson Publishing. Wilson, as partner to George Raulston, was the publisher of the Knoxville Gazette. After the partnership dissolved, Wilson moved to Jonesborough to start his own newspaper, The Washington Newspaper and Advertiser, which was established in 1803.
