This collection contains a scrapbook that has numerous pictures, newspaper articles, and magazine articles that pertain to the life, accomplishments, and family of General Douglas MacArthur, along with three audio records titled “General of the Army Douglas MacArthur’s Report to Congress” from April 19, 1951.

Abstract This collection contains the military papers of Ralph L. Marlin during his time on active duty in the U.S. Army, as well as his later employment in the U.S. postal service. Marlin, having fought in WWI, remained in the Officer’s Reserve Corps, and was recalled to active duty, at the rank of First Lieutenant, in 1942. Abstract

This includes a National World War II Memorial kit from 2003, with information on the National World War II Memorial dedication, and a Veterans History Project kit, undated, which features information and pamphlets on collecting and preserving stories from American war veterans. Also included is part of a letter written by Helen Bullard Krechniak in reference to an exhibition of American and Japanese dolls in Japan in 1978.
