This collection documents Frances Lovelace's World War II service in WAVES. It cntains copies of photographs, an invitation to the launching of the USS Hitchiti, detachment papers, news articles about Lovelace, and a short manuscript by Lovelace penned in 1973 entitled "Crisis 1973."

This collection contains six photograph albums and scrapbooks compiled by various individuals during World War II. These volumes consist of such materials as photographs, newspaper clippings, letters, cards, telegraphs, and military records documenting the U. S. war effort.
