This collection houses one well organized ledger documenting the transactions of an unidentified dry goods store between 1850 and 1870. The entries include lists of cloth bought, records of whiskey barrels ordered and sold, and records of a large assortment of trinkets.

This small cash book from 1858-1859 lists cash received on the left-hand pages and cash paid out on the right-hand pages. Each entry includes the name of the other party, and many include the reason for the transaction. Butter, flour, and goods feature prominently in both columns.
