Video interview with Mike Aday, archivist for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, conducted by Ken Wise. Aday discusses the day of the fire from the vantage point of someone outside the city. He recounts the fear of that day as well as the damage done to the city of Gatlinburg and surrounding area. He provides insight into academic research areas that have opened up after the wildfire.
