Abstract

This collection houses letters that Betsey Beeler Creekmore wrote to her mother, Betsey (Beeler) Creekmore, between 1934 and 1935. Also included are newspaper clippings documenting the Creekmore family and the history of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Overview This collection consists of materials relating to the work of author and historian Ted P. Yeatman. The papers date from 1979 to 2002 which covers a large portion of Yeatman's career. Included are edited chapters from Tennessee Wild West (currently out of publication), a proposal for his book Alias Woodson and Howard: The James Boys in Tennessee, and his co-authored work Jesse James and Bill Ryan at Nashville with Steve Eng....
