Autobiography of a Country Boy
In this book, John Richard Blanton describes his childhood in Unionville, Tennessee, his education at the University of Tennessee in the 1920s, and his later career as a teacher and school administrator in primary and secondary schools in Spring City, Nashville, and Jackson, Tennessee. He also provides some information about his service in World War II and about his ancestry, including a genealogical chart of the Blanton and Crisp families.
B. C. Neal Account Book
This is a record book owned by garage mechanic Ben Comer Neal of Unionville, Tennessee. It lists the services provided by Neal at his garage as well as the amount he charged each customer between 1915 and 1923.
Duggan & Moon Account Book
This collection consists of one account book belonging to Duggan & Moon of Unionville, Tennessee. The account entries are dated from 1860-1876. A latter portion of the book was used to document an annual reunion (including names of attendees and minutes) of the pupils of W. E. Thompson in Unionville from 1927-1938.
