Stanley J. Folmsbee Letters, 1942 December 27-1945 October 5
These five letters were written to Dr. Stanley Folmsbee between 1942 and 1945. In 1942, Ed Glass discusses the USAF, some of his predictions for the war, and his work with the Office of Price Administration. In 1944, Theron Alexander writes two letters, one thanking Folmsbee for using his thesis (written at the University of Tennessee in 1939) and one describing his life in New Guinea. In 1945, Herbert B. Butcher writes two letters from the Philippines about his hopes for teaching at the University of Tennessee when he gets home. The first letter gives a vivid account of his trip to the Philippines and his contributions to the Seyte Gulf operation.
