U. S. Relief Commission in Europe Correspondence, Reports, and Proceedings, 1919-1923
The contents of this collection include correspondence between the U.S. Relief Commission and European officials that helped coordinate aid. Prime ministers, ambassadors, and other foreign government office holders are mentioned from various European countries, and Herbert Hoover was heavily involved in this project as well. The items are largely communications, seen in copies of typed letters. There are also receipts, budgets, forms, and data tables. There are several documents pertaining to the European Children's Fund and its data collection regarding food drafts and clothing items. Meetings of the American Relief Administration are included in detailed typed minutes.
