This collection contains four letters, typed and handwritten, by Célestin Pierre Cambiaire. Cambiaire sent them in 1933 and 1934 inquiring after academic positions and opportunities, such as asking for recommendations of publishing companies for his work and possible teaching positions. The letters vary in length and topic, but they all demonstrate Cambiaire's desire for involvement in the historical community and his interest in early French and American history.
