John H. Crozier Letter, 1848 January 28
In this letter to William S. McEwen, Crozier writes that he will do his best to get a new mail route from Kingston to Athens, Tennessee, through Congress. Until then, the Postmaster General would probably let someone do it for the revenue generated from its postage. Crozier then asks McEwen to share the contents of this letter with other interested parties in the area.
