Great Smoky Mountains Postcard Collection
This collection consists primarily of colorized postcards from the early 20th century that depict scenes and animals in the Great Smoky Mountains. Most of the postcards have extensive captions on the back, and some have postmarks and personal notes.
Also included in this collection are a booklet, a brochure, and several souvenir postcard folders. The folders, designed to be mailed, include many images folded accordian style within a cover. These occasionally include images from the loose postcards, but have a single descriptive text for the collection, rather than individual captions.
