Translation of Tamotsu Nakamura Diary, 1943 April 15
This collection contains photographs and a transcript of a Japanese diary donated by Owen Musgrove who was deployed with the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. The photos depict the Philippines; some have further identification on the back of the individual photo. As noted by Musgrove, the journal was removed from the body of Kan Nakamura, a probational officer for the Sano Group, on the Guadalcanal, translated to English, and distributed to each man on his ship.
