Maps of Tennessee and Kentucky, 1779-1975, 1779-1975

In this folder, there are thirteen maps, some copies, of areas in Tennessee and Kentucky, as well as state maps. The first map is a map of the Spruce-Fir tree distribution in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in 1939. The second map is of the Cumberland and Franklin areas in Tennessee, engraved by W. Keenan. The third map covers Franklin and Cumberland Settlements in 1779-1796.The fourth, fifth, and sixth maps show the Tennessee Government that was formerly a part of North Carolina, from 1793 and 1795 respectively. The seventh map is of the state of Tennessee from 1878. The eighth map is also of Tennessee in 1821. The ninth map is of Kentucky, 1794-1795. The tenth map is of Kentucky and Tennessee in 1862-1864. The eleventh map is of Kentucky and Tennessee, printed by the University Press of Kentucky, 1979. The final two maps are of Tennessee.
