This folder contains two forest atlases. The first atlas is entitled "A Forest Atlas of the South." It was published by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1969., The second atlas, also published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, is entitled "Geographic Distribution of North American Trees." This book is only Part 1, covering Pines. George B. Sudworth, Dendrologist is credited with authorship, and it was published in 1913.
In this folder, there are two ecological maps covering the United States. The first map is entitled "Map pf the United States showing the Principal Botanical Divisions." The illustrator was Thomas C. Porter, A. M., a Professor of Botany in Lafayette College, Easton, Pa. The second map shows the natural vegetation of the United States, issued by the United States Department of Agriculture in 1923.
This folder contains two copies of the Geologic Quadrangle Maps of Tennessee. This was issued by the State of Tennessee Department of Conservation Division of Geology in 1956. These maps were compiled and created by Charles W. Wilson, Jr.
