Photographs, 1942 October-1943 April
This collection documents the military service of James Joseph Malloy, a private in the U.S. Army during World War II, specifically from his time training at Camp Tyson. The collection includes scrapbooks, photographs, and service records.
There are approximately 60 photographs which show Malloy's time at Camp Tyson including images of trainings, maneuvers, and everyday life with fellow soldiers. The scrapbooks include records of Malloy's service and transfers, newspaper clippings, cards and telegrams, photographs, and ephemeral items such as luggage tags and tickets.
