Publications, 1943, 1963
This collection consists of photographs, patches, letters, newspaper articles, and publications related to John (Gus) Karoly, a member of the Army Air Corps during World War II.
The letters are written to Karoly during and after his time in the war. One publication, "Second Air Division Memorial, 8th U.S.A.A.F." (1963), contains information concerning the library memorial that Karoly was involved with establishing in Norwich, England. The other publication "Target: Germany" (1943), is the Army Air Forces’ official story of the World War II bomber command’s first year over Europe.
