[Scope & Contents note goes here]This collection contains military documents, naval photos, correspondence, and more regarding Thurman E. Johnson's World War II military service. Included is “One Person's Experience in the Pacific Theater of Operations,” a four-page typed account of Johnson’s experiences during the war. Among the correspondence are excerpts printed from letters Johnson wrote in 1945 and copies of Johnson’s many return addresses during the war.
