Military Documents, 1941-1945
This collection documents the World War II service of Floyd Lamb. It contains military documents, correspondence, diaries, and photographs. Lamb’s two diaries include near-daily entries about activities, weather, food, and more between 1942 and 1945. Correspondence includes regular letters from Lamb to his parents and other family members written during his wartime service. Photographs show Lamb and fellow soldiers in camps and cities overseas as well as engaging in social activities during the war.
